Starting July 1st, COSMOTE Romania reduces roaming tariffs within the European Union with up to 22%, according to the European Commission rulings. In addition, as the customers’ interest for exotic destinations increases during summer holydays, COSMOTE Romania adds new exotic roaming destinations in the grid.

COSMOTE launches MVPN Budget Control


COSMOTE Romania enriched its business products and services portfolio with the new MVPN Budget Control web application. Integrated on the WebCare portal, the new MVPN Budget Control application was created to offer companies a higher flexibility in using COSMOTE services by administrating their own mobile phones fleet and, most of all, for helping them optimizing their communication budgets.

Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania have joined forces for a common initiative meant to offer customers new benefits: the possibility to talk more between both companies’ networks. The initiative will be implemented in two phases: starting today, June 7th, Romtelecom customers, residential or business, can talk in COSMOTE’s network, with on–net tariffs; within approximately one month, COSMOTE customers will also enjoy the same benefit when calling in Romtelecom network.

COSMOTE Romania continues the CSR campaign “Custom of Love - New Year’s SMS” in 2010 and donates €50,000 of its New Year’s SMS incomes to 5 non-profit organizations caring for children. Thus, Asociatia Telefonul Copilului, Fundatia Hospice Casa Sperantei, Asociatia Little People, Asociatia Orfanilor din Casele de Copii and Asociatia P.A.V.E.L foundations will each receive the equivalent of 10,000 euro in order to continue and develop their charity projects for children in 2010. “Custom of Love” is a COSMOTE Group CSR initiative aimed at supporting children non-profit organizations, offering substantial part of the New Year’s SMS incomes.
