You can recharge in any COSMOTE shop or authorized COSMOTE dealer shop using COSMOTE Recharging Cards of various values to meet your communication needs.

You have two possibilities to perform a recharge using scratch cards:

1. call *100# or 1234  free of charge from your mobile phone and follow the instructions of the interactive voice response. You will be asked to key in the secret code of 16 digits followed by #.
2. direct from your mobile phone, you key in: *135*secret code# followed by Yes/Send. You will receive a notification regarding your recharge the balance inquiry and the validity period.

One recharge code can be used only one time. No matter of your choice to perform the recharge, the recharged value will be added to the existing credit. After recharge, you will benefit of the longest validity period between the top up validity and account’s validity before recharge. The grace period follows the validity period until reaching 13 months since the recharging moment.

Top up bonus

The 50 minutes and 50 text messages in Cosmote from the top up bonus have a validity period of 15 days from the top up moment.

If you top up multiple times within 15 days, the minutes and texts from bonuses will cumulate values. Validity period for the cumulated bonus is 15 days from the last top up.

The top up bonus is consumed last, after exhausting the on-net minutes and texts from the extraoptions.

For updated information on minutes and text messages available from the top up bonus, call free of charge *134# sau 1234.

Note!

The new bonus of 50 minutes and 50 text messages in Cosmote is not allocated to the old scratch cards with the bonus as percentage from top up credit.

Electronic Recharge

You can recharge your Cartela COSMOTE using electronic recharging codes with the following values:

Recharge from anywhere

You can now recharge a Cartela COSMOTE by calling to 0766 135135 from any network , no matter if it is your own card or it belongs to your friends using a Cosmote recharge code!

How can you recharge?

• Call 0766 135135 from any national or international network, even from Roaming.

The calls to 0766 135135 are:

•  free for COSMOTE users (excepting the calls from roaming)
• charged at standard tariffs when calling from other networks.

• Input the Cartela COSMOTE number you want to recharge in the format 076xxxxxxx (eg: 0766123456), followed by the recharging code (16 digits). The recharging code can be found on a Scratch Card or on an Electronic Voucher.

• The recharged number is receiving a notification SMS with recharging details upon successful recharging.

Other information:
• The values with which you can recharge a Cartela COSMOTE by calling to 0766 135135 are the same as the ones used at the standard recharge through Scratch Cards or through Electronic Vochers.
• The recharged amount is added to the existing credit.
• The validity period of the recharged account is given by the maximum between the validity offered by the recharged value and the existing validity of the account (eg: if before the recharge the validity of the recharged account was bigger than it remains unchanged).
• If the recharged account is in the grace period, the validity period is given by the validity period provided by the recharged amount. The grace period follows the validity period until reaching 13 months.

Felixibility

In any COSMOTE shop you can top up your Cartela COSMOTE Card with any value between 1 and 200 euro, values with decimal included. In fact you can top up your Cartela COSMOTE with values expressed in RON.

For example, if you want to top up with 15 RON you can use the entire amount. After 24% VAT deduction, the remaining sum of 12.6 RON is exchanged in euro using the current exchange rate. If the rate is 1 euro for 4.3 RON, you will top up your Cartela COSMOTE with 2.93 (12.6 RON/ 2.93 RON).

The top up value and the corresponding bonus will be added to the existing credit. You will benefit of the most advantageous/ long period of validity and grace, established by comparing the validity and grace you had before top up with those offered by the top up value (eg: if before doing the top up, your Cosmote Card validity and/or grace periods were longer compared to to the top up ones, then your account status does not change.

Recharge any Cartela COSMOTE with no effort

You can top up with no effort your own Cartela COSMOTE or any other Cartela COSMOTE number, yours or of your friends, by using the Any Value Top up service.

All you have to do is to enter in a COSMOTE shop and tell to COSMOTE sales representative the COSMOTE number you want to top up and the amount.

COSMOTE shop sales representative will top up directly the specified Cartela COSMOTE number.
After performing the recharge the Cartela COSMOTE user will receive a notification text with all the details.

Pocket Minutes Recharge

You can recharge your Cartela COSMOTE using Pocket Minutes:

You have two possibilities to perform a recharge using Pocket Minutes scratch card:
1. call *100# or 1234 free of charge from your mobile phone and follow the instructions of the interactive voice response. You will be asked to insert the secret code of 16 digits followed by #.
2. direct from your mobile phone, you insert: *135*secret code# followed by Yes/Send. You will receive a notification regarding your recharge, the balance inquiry and the validity period.

One recharge code can be used only one time. You will benefit of the most advantageous/ long period of validity between the validity you had before top up and the one offered by the top up value. The grace period follows the validity period until reaching 37 days from top up moment.

Information about Pocket Minutes:

• It can be used on top of any extra option (from current portfolio and previous ones).
• Product type: scratch card and electronic voucher.
• Consumption order: the 30 on-net minutes are the last to be consumed after the on-net minutes from extra options and after the bonus minutes received at any recharge with more than 4 euro.
• The tariff applied after the consumption the 30 on-net minutes will be the tariff available for the specific user depending on the extraoption activated on the account or the standard tariff available for Cartela COSMOTE, in case no extraoption is activated.
• Validity period for these minutes in CSOMOTE is 7 days.
• This recharge offers a validity period of 7 days and grace period of 30 days.
• In case you have Talk5 & Get60minutes extra option active on his account: the 30 on–net minutes from the  “Pocket Minutes” are not taken into account in order to get the 60 minutes on-net for 5 minutes talked.
• In case that you recharge with a value starting 4 euro during the validity period of the “Pocket Minutes” (7 days), you will get 50 minutes on-net bonus due to the respective recharge. The minutes available from recharge using the “Pocket Minutes” will be cumulated with the new 50 on-net minutes and the cumulated minutes will have the validity period of 15 days from the last recharge.
